Patients with access to repeat prescriptions can order in the following ways:

• Email - hweicbwe.f81131-dispensary@nhs.net
• Online - Click the link to either access or register your Patient Access account
• In person - Either hand your repeat slip in at reception or use the red postbox outside

We do not take repeat requests over the phone for safety reasons 

Please allow 3 full working days for prescriptions to be processed (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

If we have your correct details, you will receive a text when your medication is ready.

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, advanced nurse practitioner or a practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications where a notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book the appropriate appointment in advance to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Thaxted Surgery is a dispensing practice.

We dispense new prescriptions issued in GP consultations immediately, and repeat prescriptions within 3 working days of ordering.

Opening Hours

The dispensary is open from 08:30 to 18:30 Monday to Friday.

Pre-ordered medication can be collected from 08:00 to 18:30 Monday to Friday from the reception desk.

Contact

You can contact reception with enquiries about your medication by email or phone after 11:00am.  A receptionist will normally be able to answer queries about the status of your medication, and will pass your query on to a qualified dispenser when necessary. 

Payments

We accept payment by credit and debit card, cheque or cash. We do not allow credit.

Unfortunately, for legal reasons, we are unable to dispense for patients who live within a mile of a privately owned pharmacy.
