 Summer Raffle

Our summer raffle raised £996.50 in ticket sales, and, with some other kind donations we are now able to purchase an electric medical coach.  Thank you for your overwhelming support and generosity in donating prizes, buying tickets, and giving your time to organise and sell tickets.

When We Are Closedclosed_sign

Outside 08:00 to 18:30, Monday to Friday, an emergency doctor service, operated by PELC, is in place for the West Essex area.  You can access this service by dialling 111.

The emergency doctor will discuss your problem over the phone, and may ask you to come in to the clinic at Dunmow or may visit you at home.

The emergency doctor will send you to hospital if they feel it is necessary, and can call ahead to expedite the process on your arrival.

This service is for urgent medical problems: the Emergency doctor does not have your full medical history and cannot provide the service that the surgery offers during core hours.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
